Our Story
Burritos from the Juárez–El Paso border are unlike anything else — small, flavorful, wrapped in a soft, pillowy flour tortilla, and filled with slow-cooked Northern Mexican guisos. They’ve been a daily staple in the borderlands for generations, but until recently, they didn’t exist in New York. In 2020, the flavors of the frontera made their way to Brooklyn, starting in a small Williamsburg apartment where hand-rolled tortillas were cooked fresh to order and burritos were sold to friends and neighbors. Word spread quickly, turning those home-cooked meals into sold-out pop-ups and earning recognition from MUNCHIES and other national publications. At the heart of every burrito is our tortilla — rolled by hand, cooked fresh, and fluffy in a way New York had never seen before. Today, Los Burritos Juárez continues to share the authentic taste of the border, one tortilla-wrapped bite at a time.
